In April of 2019 I had some suspension parts replaced at Stop and Go on Industrial Street in Burlington. The vehicle - a 2010 Mazda Tribute - has been used in city traffic and on city roads almost entirely and has had average kilometres each year. Both lower ball joints are again completely shot and need replacing again. These suspension components should last much longer - certainly more than 5 years [ they must have started deteriorating well before the 5 years ] and perhaps even the life of the car. I've owned numerous vehicles in the past and have never replaced lower ball joints on any other car. I feel that the parts they used must have been substandard and/or the mechanic was ill-trained and they counted on my either not noticing or getting rid of the vehicle before the problem arose again. I would not recommend this shop and will not take any vehicle there for any reason in the future. For all those reading this review - Todd, the owner reached out to me via phone and email and offered to make the situation right , which he did. The ball joints had a lifetime warranty - which I did not know about - so they were replaced at my cost of labour only along with a gratis alignment. I am happy with Stop and Go now and greatly respect their response to my negative review above. I would recommend them for auto repairs.

An amazing Burlington mechanic! It’s easy to book with them, they do a great inspection, and are honest about what services your car should get and answer any questions if you are unsure. As bonus - they vacuum the inside of your car and clean the exterior after each service! I’ve started to look forward to taking my car in for service :)

My experience with Stop N Go Automotive Centre was very pleasant. They are very professional and know what they are doing. They care for their customers and explain everything very well. They also send the report to your email with all the details about whats wrong with your car. They saved me from purchasing a rotten vehicle 2012 nissan rogue which I almost bought if i hadn't last moment decide to take it to a mechanic first. I highly recommend Stop N Go.

(Buying a used car) After inspection.. I was emailed the report with pictures... They took me inside let me see for myself EVERYTHING and show me whats wrong and what is a future concern. Great experience!!!!! All the staff were very professional and my car was fixed on time and for less then quoted. Loved that they sent me videos and pictures of my car showing me what is happening so I could understand. The shuttle driver was very friendly and arrived on time to pick me up as arranged. My car was also detailed inside and out when I picked it up (wow!!!) I have already told my friends and family about you guys. March 2024 Another great experience. Keep up the great work folks.

This is a bit of a proxy review as I brought my wife’s car in for service and this is a commentary on the customer service I experienced. My wife had arranged a loaner vehicle, when I showed up everything was ready to go, the car was spotless and full of gas. The repairs were exactly as quoted and everything was quite reasonable. Super friendly staff and absolutely zero hassle. Couldn’t ask for much more :)

Recently my 2008 Ford Escape was denied a recall notice for the steering assist failure, despite 08 to 11 being all on recall for this problem. Luckily I was able to trust Stop N Go to remedy my problem and spare me the option of paying Ford for their intransigence with this recall. Truly I feel like the Escape has never been better especially with the care I received and the clean condition it is always returned in.

Very practical feedback for the car with images. I knew car battery was coming up and have been having issues with it, and in test test failed, you were able to replace same day. Appreciate the complimentary in and out clean (we had a popcorn spill in the backseat, which is hard to get to in the winter without a garage) so apologies and thank you. Fantastic service!!! I've been going to Stop N Go for over 5 years & have always appreciated their honest advice on my car repairs. Stop N Go really came through for me recently & demonstrated amazing customer service. I was in a car accident & even though I called after hours, I was able to connect with Todd who arranged for a tow truck. Unfortunately my car was written off but Todd kindly offered to take off my license plates & hold them for me for pick up at a later date. As a backyard mechanic, I have very little trust in professional mechanics (generally speaking). Over the course of about four services/repairs on various personal vehicles, Todd and his team have repeatedly proven their dedication and expertise in their field. Their professionalism should be the benchmark for the industry. Keep up the great work!! As a follow up, I just had my 2010 Wrangler repaired after a front end collision. I confidently left my vehicle with Todd and his team. Of course, I got the vehicle back running better than expected. They even went above and beyond to repair my rear defroster. These are fantastic people. So much so that, although completely unnecessary, I felt they all deserved coffee and donuts. Stop and Go will absolutely see business from me again.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! The team at Burlington Stop N Go are absolutely amazing! Not only are they incredibly friendly and accommodating, they are thorough and detailed. I truly trust they have my family’s safety at heart every time they service our vehicle. Which has not been the feeling other places I have been to in the past. SNG sends pictures of your vehicle parts to show you the actual issue and let you know the timeframe to consider. Not everything is absolutely urgent with them. Some things may require immediate attention if they are a safety issue but other things may just need to be kept an eye on. But it allows you to budget when you need to and limits big surprises. Stop N Go really does care about their customers and it is absolutely evident in their customer service, detailed work, and the extras they provide. Matt and Todd are the best of the best!

I hate spending gross amounts of money on anything but my car tends to be one of those essential items that sometimes requires a large layout (to me) of my limited funds. But if I must spend the money I can honestly say it's easy to do so with Matt and Todd as they make sure that you appreciate the importance and the reasons why you should. I used to get my Acura service from the Acura dealer and this is my first experience with Stop N Go in Burlington and I must say that I will be their permanent customer. I need to get my vehicle brakes and routers to be served and just stop by to see what is the earliest date I can get and was surprised to get next day appointment. The team, specially Tod were very helpful, professionally sound and knowledgeable. I received details about each and every service which need to be done right away and which can be deferred to next service data. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the service and will definitely go back and recommend others too. Easy appointment booking online. Great explanations with what's been done to your vehicle and anything that needs to be done. Very thorough vehicle report and inspection report.
